Sharing Tree Memories believes everyone has a story to share. Based on that core value, the Day Brightener Package was developed for senior care facilities (SCF). The Day Brightener Package has been met with overwhelming support by SCFs.
Utilizing Sharing Tree Memories’ Day Brightener Package, an internal SCF Activity Director will lead residents through fun activities that spur excitement, activate memories, and engage personal storytelling. Session summaries outline how to comfortably host two-hour sessions, for up to fifteen residents, once a week for three or four weeks. Residents will receive gentle promptings in multiple formats to help them recall and share their favorite life stories. Conversations laced with fun stories and fond memories will spill over into visits with other residents, guest, and family members.
The residents really opened up and shared beautiful memories that they would not have thought of if it was not for the Sharing Tree Memories’ program.
